Megapron Engineering Sdn Bhd (Megapron) was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 on 10 August 1983 and has its registered office at Lot 2, block 231 KNLD Sungai Bandan,Kg Sandong Jalan Stephen Yong, 93250 Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
Megapron specialises in asphalt premix, bituminous surface dressing and pavement works. The company caters to a wide range of clients, offering pavement works of superior quality.

Our staff
Megapron has a team of qualified engineers and technicians as well as highly experienced machinery operators and tradesmen. Members of our team have successfully completed the pavement works for acclaimed major trunk road projects in Sarawak.
As demand requires, Megapron also engages well established and experienced subcontractors for road paving works who were previously involved in the North and South highway in Peninsular Malaysia, Bakong/Meradong and KJD Roads in Sarawak.
We have a diverse fleet of road construction equipment including:
(ALMIX 6626) which is capable of producing up to 100 MT of asphalt concrete per hour. This is stationed at Sibu.

Batch Mix Asphalt Plant (Almix 9226)
Batch mix asphalt plants are well engineered to meet customer needs for high consistency mix quality and long term production requirements. They are readily and easily transportable. The plant is capable of producing up to 160 MT of asphalt premix per hour.
3. BRAC EXX70100 Asphalt Premix Plant
Capable of producing up to 80 MT of asphalt premix per hour. This plant is stationed in Kuching.
4. A mobile asphalt premix plant
(ALMIX 5424K) which is capable of producing up to 60 MT of asphalt premix per hour. This is stationed at Bintulu.
5. Vibro Vibrating Rollers
that ensure constant compaction of earthworks, base, sub-base which is crucial in any road construction :-

6. Asphalt Wheeled Paver
a) ABG Titan 3870
which is manoeuvred by a combination of electronic and hydraulic mechanisms. This ensures correct thickness of the premix course and hence precise uniform layers especially on the super elevation at road curves.
b) Vogele 1704 Super (Paver) Yellow
which is manoeuvred by a combination of electronic and hydraulic mechanisms. This ensures correct thickness of the premix course and hence precise uniform layers especially on the super elevation at road curves.
7. Cold Milling Machine ( Model Wirtgen W1000C)
Cold milling machines are used for the quick, highly efficient removal of asphalt and con-crete pavements. They need create an even, true-to-profile base for the construction of new surface courses of uniform layer thick-ness.
